Hedges like this one are in abundance around here right now. They stretch out for blocks. I wanted to capture the length and depth but unfortunately I just couldn’t get high enough to get the full effect without sidewalks and streets.
What is the name of the plant? We are just starting to have green here. Two days ago I noticed that daffodils are blooming in the back flower bed. I love how the seasons touch different places at different times and in different ways.
I think it is a ‘Red Tip Photinia’ . I share your enjoyment of the seasons touching different places at different times. A sense of continuity and moving through time.
Those colors exude positivity and beauty.
