Seeing the human in the kayak really gives one a new perspective of how huge these rock formations are. Must have been an amazing experience to stand in front of them.
Yes it was. They have such a strong presence. The way they are positioned, the angles and perspective always gives me the impression they were placed there intentionally….. It’s a great place to meditate!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing how you experience these images. I did hesitate in placing the black & white images with the ones in color. They have such a different feel. I tend to find the color ones more inviting, like I want to step into the image, whereas I have more of a sense of witnessing with the black & white ones.
I liked that you chose to include both in the post, they are quite different and I always find it interesting to see different interpretations of one scene.

Beautiful photos! I love the last one with the canoe in the middle of the rocks!

It was fun watching the kayak come into the frame of the photo and progress between the rocks. I’m glad you like this one.

Another series of beautiful images – my favourite is the first one, with the rocks fading in the mist!

I like the angles of the rocks in the second picture. Like they were thrown there by a wandering giant.
