A Happy New Year Arati! Let it be as magical as the marvelous structures in your photos! May we see more bridges and less walls!

Your palace shots are intriguing. What a lovely spot. Wonder how they’d look in b & w.

I am so glad you posed the question, expressed your curiosity.
I made virtual copies and changed them to b & w. I like them a lot. Such a different feel. For me the structures seem to have a stronger sense of presence, but then I think that’s one of the characteristics of b & w. Maybe more focused, with less distractions.
Thanks again.

I love those bridges. I’ve been admiring them for a long time, at least since my years at Berkeley in the mid-60s. And I admit to taking a ‘few’ photos of them. Good job Arati. –Curt

Thanks Curt. I love the Bay Bridge. The two sections, the old and the new are so different from each other and I so enjoy seeing them follow each other across the Bay. In these structures seeing how architecture and engineering evolved over time.
