Echoes of skateboards rolling on concrete
like trains rumbling in the distance
faded silhouettes of children cavorting on a playground
laughter floating in the air
A park
enveloped in eerie silence
awaits the kids’ return

Your photos remind me of a post I did a couple years while ago … https://michaelhoffmannphotography.com/2018/01/25/misty-playground/

In your ‘misty playground’ photos I like how the lines in playground structures seem to mirror the lines in the trees. I like the series of photos. The one with colors stands out in contrast to the others while at the same time I find the subdued lighting lends a softness to the colors and shapes. Lovely photographs.

Yes. It is pretty weird to see all our playgrounds closed down and surrounded with yellow caution tape.

That picture perfectly speaks this strange time. It is eerie, slightly off-key with the lack of life and the light. As ever, you have produced something wonderful.

Thank you Osyth. I like “slightly off key…” as in something is amiss, a sense of malaise.
