Looking for a new “theme”

Hello to those of you who might see this post.

It is now 10 years since I started this blog and for the whole time I have been using the theme Traveler. Unfortunately this theme has been retired which means that whenever there is a glitch it can no longer be fixed, and glitches are starting to pop up which is a huge bummer!

I like the layouts and colors I can use in Traveler and how it all works for me.I’m not looking forward to this change, and yet …. I’m searching for a new theme.

If any of you would be willing to share what theme you use, what you like about it (how your images are displayed, ease of navigating, versatility, possibility of framing your photos…) I would greatly appreciate your input.

With care,
Arati

  1. I’m looking for a new theme, myself, Arati. Haven’t decided yet. But I am reviewing what they recommend for travel blogs.

  2. There are so many new themes and I tried some, but always returned for the good old Fontfolio on two of my blogs. I guess, changing does not work fine, if not starting a new blog, because all the old HTML /CSS remains by changing the theme and oft isnt’ good looking with the new design. I startet a new one with Apostrophe 2, and think it is fine, because front-page, galleries, “caroussel” are good-looking, and the pages, menu and tags are not hidden somewhere.

Hi Arati, I’ve been using the Twenty Sixteen theme for the last eight years and I’ve always been happy with its ease of use and how it suits my way of pairing images with words. I hope you will find a theme that suits you with an easy switchover 😊🙏
