On a flight from San Francisco to Chicago. The photo was taken as we were coming into Chicago. The Wordless Wednesday photo was take earlier in the day on the same flight.

Like the night sky has shone so bright that it has left an imprint on the town below … and those clouds – I always think that is why ancient men believed that heaven lurked in the sky when I look up at dawn and dusk.

I like the way you see this as the sky shining so bright it left an imprint on the town below.
There was a sense of other worldly in being held between the two spaces. The view reminded me of geometric patterns left on the ground by ancient civilizations, only this time it was done with lights.
