Thank you … glad you like them.
Each time I look at them I imagine them having a conversation, perhaps commenting on the storm and whether or not it will rain 🙂
Yes, a lot of benches and maybe they get used on weekends or if there is a fair. One of the downsides of suburbs is that one does not see many people walking around or sitting on benches, even when a place is referred to as a city…
A city is not necessarily a city, is not necessarily a city, is not necessarily a city as I have told folks on the ‘city’ council.
Did they listen. The K-Street Mall in Sacramento immediately comes to mind. For years and years and years city councils struggled to make it a livable place to live and play as well as work. Come 5 pm it was vacated. It certainly hadn’t always been that way, and maybe it is once again becoming that way. At least it has the potential. Most suburbs don’t from my perspective. –Curt
Not really. I don’t seem to share the same idea of ‘city’ with most of the people around here. This area has several corporate headquarters and $$ is a big focus.

That’s a lot of benches, Arati. I wonder if they are filled on a nice day. –Curt

Lots of big bucks. I have a friend who works at Google but can’t afford to live in the area.
