I’m doing okay, I think. Hard to tell how much yuck we are breathing in, and the air quality here is good compared to places nearer to the fires. It is hard to even fathom what that might be like. I’m grateful to be in a low risk area.
Yes, It was so dark this morning the street lamps were still on around 9:30 and everything was covered with a layer of ash. And we aren’t even close to major fires. When I finally saw the sun around 4 in the afternoon it was a red circle in a grayish brown sky.
I wondered how you were doing with all this chaos. Hope you are safe and healthy.

I am glad you aren’t close to major fires-that is what I wanted to know. Are you in Santa Cruz area? Do you know how Achintya is?-Arathi

I’m still in San Ramon, I haven’t heard from Achintya and I’m imagining she is okay since she lives on the other side of Santa Cruz from Bonny Doon.

Thanks Arati! We had snow here in Denver yesterday after 90degree temps the day before. Crazy but….here we are.
