   Great effect, Arati. Rain on the windshield helps make the point as yet another Pineapple Express smashes into the West Coast. Quite dramatic.

     thanks Curt. I find it interesting how this term “atmospheric river” has come to be. We had plenty of winter storms like this back in the 70’s and 80’s and we just knew them as usual winter storms… some more intense than others.
