Fires in the West, Floods in the Midwest


 

Last night I wrote and posted two photographs about the Yolo County fire
As of a couple of hours ago 60,000 acres have burnt and containment is at 5%.

Last week I was in the Midwest where there has been flooding. I went back to revisit the Fox River and was stunned. For a moment I couldn’t figure out what I was seeing!

  2. It’s hard to fathom …. almost like the elemental olympics with fire and water both throwing of their best (worst) and refusing to concede victory to the other.
